.) Memphis- This team can and will play great offense all year as they can beat u inside or outside. They also play very good defense and have 5 solid starters, but their main problem could come with inexperience if that exists in sim leagues?
.) Houston Rockets: Great Offense with very good defense. They have 1 of the best centers and point guards in the league along with having a dpoy in artest, but their main problem could appear in having no true sg.
.) Golden State: They play very good defense with 4 very good starters and all 4 r young, so this team should stay up here for awhile, but their main problem is finding a reliable center that can tear down the boards.
.) Portland: Extremely good defense with 4 very good starters and another good 1 to round out the 5, but the avg age of the starters is 21.8 so expect them to improve over the years, especially with 1 of the best centers/true point guards.
.) Boston: Another top defensive team with a very good center and 4 other solid starters. Wade leads this offense at almost 30ppg and okafor and big z r both avg double doubles as they lead a top 3 rebounding team.
.) Phoenix: They have 3 very good defensive players and a good true pg. They have 4 players scoring in double figures with AI scoring 27ppg and they need to improve their depth if they want to have a chance at the ship.
.) Washington: 5 very good starters led by veterans Jamison and Bibby and young players Randolph, Azubuike, and Harrington. They r a very good rebounding team, but they r almost dead last in steals and they need to improve on offense.
.) Philadelphia: They play stifling defense allowing a measly 82.3ppg led by solid defensive players in Bunch, Marion, and Mbah a Moute and they have 1 of the best true pg in Nash. They also lead the league in steals and top 3 in blocks per game.
.) Toronto: They've got a top center, a very good pf, solid sf and sg, but they lack a pg that could lead them deep into the playoffs. They r 1 of the worst teams in terms of rebounding and blocks.
.) LA Lakers: They've got a solid offense led by Kobe with almost 40ppg, but they need stronger 2-3 options because Kobe can't do that all season. They've got a solid all around pg as they r top 5 in apg, but they need to do a better job rebounding and play better defense period.
.) Minnesota: They've got a solid center avg. 20 and 10, a HOF pf in garnett, a good scoring sg, but no clear starting pg. They've got solid defense and offense and they r top 10 in rebounding, assists(3), and blocks per game. They also do a god job in not turning the ball over a lot
.) New Jersey: They've got a very good offense with pure scorers in T-Mac and RJ and Kaman inside. They r terrible rebounding the ball though, but they do do a good job distributing the ball as they avg. 24 apg.
.) LA Clippers: They r top 5 in defense as they have 5 very good defensive stoppers, but they have an average offense.
.) Denver: They've got a powerful offense as they have 2 starters over 51ppg combined, but their defense is disgusting as they give up over 101ppg
.) Utah: They r middle of the pack when it comes to offense and defense, which is probably why they r 5-5. They r led by a very good pg in Williams and Boozer and they have 3 other solid starters. Look for this team to be a surprise.
.) Atlanta: Their defense is soooo bad, but they have a few good building blocks in Bayless, Law, and Green.
.) Orlando: They've got a great defensive center and franchise stars in Redd, VC, and Davis. If they can improve their pf, they could become much better.
.) Chicago: Not a very good defense, but good offense. Amare will be great all season, Gordon is a very good scorer, and they have 2 solid pg. They might be able to get away with a 3 guard lineup.
