.) Portland: They've got the strongest starting 5 in the whole league led by pg TJ Ford and Greg Oden. They've got 3 solid options in Gay, Oden, and Aldridge and Ford does a great job of getting the ball to those 3 as he averages almost 10apg. They've got awesome defense as they hold opponents to 87ppg and Oden has done a great job of controlling the paint.
.) Utah: They've got 5 solid starters with very few weaknesses. All 3 fowards/center rebound extremely well as they combine for almost 30rpg. Deron Williams is a solid all around pg as he almost averages a double-double, and Allen is a very reliable scorer along with Boozer, Howard, and Williams.
.) Cleveland: Nobody can score inside on this team, while Howard and Yi r on the floor. Joe Johnson can beat u inside or outside and Ellis is a great all around guard. Ellis and Lowry combine for 10apg, but neither r putting up overwhelming numbers as a pg.
.) Phoenix: Here's another team with 2 great big men, but their depth suffers. They play with 3 guards, which seems to work. All 3 guards avg. more than 5rpg and they combine for 12apg. They seem to play strong defense even though they lack a true sf.
.) Memphis: 5 young capable starters to accompany Pierce is pretty good, so even if they don't win this year, they still have next year. The big men rebound very well as they combine for almost 25rpg. Conley Jr. is 1 of the best in the country at distributing the ball as he almost averages a double double. Roy is doing great as a 1st option as he shoots .462 from the field with a 23ppg average to go with it.
.) Boston: They r top 3 in every offensive category except for topg. They've got 3 players with over 20ppg and 2 others with 10+. Every player can rebound and play defense. If they can upgrade at center, then they can take the ship. Dwade somehow manages 9apg, while scoring 23ppg.
.) Minnesota: Garnett is playing great offense and defense like always; he's got 26ppg, 13rpg, and 3bpg. Foye is playing well as an option, but Telfair and Walton are holding this team back. Their defense has been key to their success and if Foye and Walton can play stronger defense, they could definitely be a top 5 finisher.
.) Orlando: 4 solid starters is the cornerstone of this team. Davis is doing a very job as a scorer and a distributer and Wallace is still defending the paint like he was back in the day and VC and Redd are scoring like they do every year.
