Boston wins the season series 3-1, with the only loss coming during the Celtics 60 win hunt(85-96). And with MVP Dwyane Wade & partner in crime Kevin Garnett coming off their best season, Boston is looking for another championship. And I doubt they will let Washington stop them. While on the other hand the Wizards barely made the post-season after being tied with Miami. Washington should be expecting a first round exit but upsets can happen.
Key Match-up: Kevin Garnett vs Antawn Jamison

Though the season series was split 2-2, Cleveland made the most of it with both wins by 6 points(90-84 & 102-96). This series could go either way, but I don't see Cleveland getting knocked off this early.
Key Match-up: Paul Peirce vs Caron Butler

This should be another close series, and it mainly depends on how well each teams SF's do. Both Ben Gordon & Vince Carter have been consistent against each other. But if Gordon & Amare can show up each and every game the Bulls should be moving to round two.

These teams do not match-up well together, New Orleans has a very good backcourt and eh frontcourt while NY has the exact opposite. So its all on Eddy Curry & Elton Brand for the Knicks, and Chris Paul & Devin Harris for the Hornets. Nearly impossible to tell the outcome but I'm going with NOH since the backcourt normally scores more than a frontcourt on you average basketball team.
Key Match-up: Lamar Odom vs Ricky Davis

Houston were above San Antonio earlier this season but since acquiring Zach Randolph they have shot down the standings faster than any other team in recent memory. All the Spurs have to do to win this series is score, and they have already proven they can do just that.
Key Match-up: Tim Duncan vs Zach Randolph

The Lakers have slipped since trading Zach Randolph, and that just might keep them from the second round. Neither team really has homecourt advantage since they both play in the same arena, and I see a upset in the works as the Clippers move to the 2nd round for only the third time in franchise history.
Key Match-up: Kobe Bryant vs Rashard Lewis

Dallas has been consistently playing well the entire season, while Denver has been inconsistent and struggling since the start. Dallas has a full starting lineup of 13+PPG players, Denver only has two. A upset is always possible but I just don't see it happening.

A rematch of last year's conference semi finals, and It looks like its going to be the same outcome. The Jazz acquired Ray Allen right before the deadline and that will put them over the top in this series.
Key Match-up: Josh Howard
Prediction: Jazz in 7
